The two have been destined to collide for a couple of years now in what could be a close fight, but online sportsbook Bovada has the champion, Usman, as the favorite at -175 with the self-proclaimed “people’s” champion, Covington, coming back at +145. This fight will be headlining UFC 245 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 14.
Conor McGregor -160. Eddie Alvarez +140. In the example above, McGregor is the favorite and the betting works like this: Picture $100 sitting in the middle of those two numbers. To bet on McGregor, you have to risk $160 in order to turn a $100 profit. Since he is favored, the bettor must risk more money to bet on him.
